Puricelli: Salaries in armed and security forces are “reasonable and adequate”

The Defense Minister Arturo Puricelli said, “The wages of the Armed and Security Forces are reasonable and appropriate to the current economic reality of our country, which by the way is actually very acceptable to the whole society.”

About Prefecture and Gendarmerie protest, Puricelli said: “We can see that there have been people who legitimately has manifested over pay and some people who have had other objectives.”

“The decrees 1305 and 1307 benefited retired staff and retired staff have seen much against just manifesting as more has benefited in the past 20 years.”

On another note, next Irish President Michael Higgins, paid tribute to Admiral William Brown, considered the Father of the Armada Argentina, at a ceremony held in the Ireland Sqaure in Caballito neighborhood, where he was accompanied by the Minister of Defence.
