Higuaín suffered a concussion and could be removed from the team to face Chile
Argentina, October 13, 2012
He is along with Lionel Messi, the Argentine striker in qualifying for Brazil 2014. But Pipa Higuain suffered a blow last night against Uruguay on his hip, which resulted in a concussion. Alejandro Sabella will have to decide whether the Real Madrid striker plays against Chile or not. For now, the prognosis is guarded.
After the game against Uruguay, in which Argentina won decisively by a 3-0 with two goals scored by Messi and one of Agüero , Higuaín was treated by doctors of the coaching staff. In today’s practice, Gonzalo made regenerative works with the rest of the group and then he trained separately. Meanwhile, Marcos Rojo also suffers a contracture in his right leg.
If Higuain cannot play, Sabella will have to reset his tactics to face the Chilean team led by Bichi Borghi. He could set a 4-4-2 betting on a midfielder or change Pipa by for Barcos.
