The ruling was reversed: Leandro Despouy will continue to lead the Auditor General

Leandro Despouy continue to lead the Auditor General, after the radicalism received a note of the President of Lower House, Julián Domínguez, in which he agrees that the auditor to remain in office after the objections.

Through the letter, the Front for Victory party gave up on its public objections to the legitimacy of Despouy in front of the AGN and considered as “sufficient evidence” UCR manifestations.

Despouy always maintained that he was still the head of the agency and said the attempt to separate him constituted “institutional coup” and was due to reports that appeared in different areas of management with irregularities and omissions by the Government.

The UCR always supported Despouy in office as well as all the opposition.
