Iran president congratulated his ‘brother’ Chavez

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad congratulated his ‘brother’ Hugo Chavez on his victory of the Venezuelan election.
“I congratulate you personally and to the Venezuelan people, by organizing an enthusiastic election and for your reelection”, Ahmadinejad said.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to develop its cooperation with Venezuela.”
Other greetings by Chavez’ political allies were: Ecuador President Rafael Correa, who boasted of knowing the scrutiny before being made public, President Cristina Kirchner who spoke by telephone with Chávez to greet him.
Also, Evo Morales, President of Bolivia, who said, “Chavez’s victory is also the victory of the people of Latin America who struggle with their dignity, sovereignty and own destiny ‘.
Cuban President Raul Castro, who said, “on behalf of the government and people of Cuba, I congratulate you on this historic triumph, demonstrating the strength of the Bolivarian revolution and its unquestionable popular support. Your decisive victory ensures the continuity of the struggle for genuine American integration.”
