Gendarmerie officers reject government proposal

Gendarmerie officers rejected this afternoon the government’s proposal regarding wages laundering and said the cabinet chief Juan Manuel Abal Medina “laughed in their faces.”
“We are not leaving. They have laughed in our face,” said spokesman Raul Maza to speak in front of hundreds of troops on the steps of the Centinela building, in the neighborhood of Retiro.
“The measure does not rise and we call on our comrades to lift 50% of the seats. The posts are not going to neglect, but 50% is to be lifted,” said Maza.
About statements by Juan Manuel Abal Medina and Hernán Lorenzino, the spokesman asked: “We want dialogue. They cannot say that the minimum will be $ 2,696.
