Skyfall, the new Adele song breaks record sales (audio)

Skyfall, the new single of British singer Adele that belongs to the soundtrack of the new James Bond film broke an iTunes record by becoming the fastest downloadable theme climbed to the top.

The song was uploaded to the official website of the artist at 00:07 and quickly began to be downloaded in iTunes easily reaching number one, and if this continues, the theme goes direct to become the fourth number one single of Adele in UK.

The song has received rave reviews from fans of the movie starring Daniel Craig, ensuring Adele performing is perfect for the film.

In a statement, the singer said: “I was hesitant at first to get involved in the focus of Skyfall, there are plenty of instant pressure when it is a Bond song.”

“But I fell in love with the script and came up with some great ideas for the track,” confessed and ended up with a huge dramatic theme, with the unmistakable stamp of Adele.
