Leandro Despouy (UCR party) was displaced by the ruling of the Chair of the Auditor General’s Office (AGN), arguing that his mandate had expired in March 2010 and that the post was vacant.
The government congressman Fabian Rios, president of the Joint Commission of Congress Accounts Review, said the decision was due to “what rules the Constitution and the Financial Administration Act.”
Rios said the radicalism “has to formalize the process of appointment of a new president.”
The substitute president is Horacio Pernasetti (UCR party) and the appointment of new chairman of AGN “will be automatic once the radical party appointing him.”
