Mauricio Macri’s support for Gendarmerie and Prefecture

Buenos Aires Mayor Mauricio Macri spoke about the complaint and protest of Gendarmerie and Prefecture maintaining nationwide.

Macri criticized the government and said that “deeply understand. I know I have a decade of abuse and disrespect against a government that has consistently improvised their security programs and therefore has failed. “

Macri added, “Government House has not recognized your efforts to fight crime. But we are many Argentines who recognize these efforts. They have a greater responsibility than other workers because they have delegated the power to care for more citizens”

“So I ask you to go home with their families and to open a dialogue to resolve the errors that the Government has committed. You cannot take the streets.”

And he asked the Nation: “concrete solutions without appeal more to ghosts.”
