Gendarmerie joined the protest of Prefecture

In the Sentinel building, Gendarmerie joined from 5:00 this morning to the protest of Naval Prefecture, who remained at the scene overnight because government authorities left no written responses to complaints.

According to sources in the force, ‘Troops from Campo de Mayo are traveling to join the claim’.

Coast Guard has so far 20 hours of barracks across the street from Puerto Madero, claiming ‘better wages and living conditions’ and ‘rejecting the decree that will cut the pay between 40 and 70 percent.’

Gendarmerie: “We are fighting the same as the Prefecture, a decent payment day, working as persons. People do not know what the security forces suffer. They do not know what we are suffering.”

Salaries to August 2012 of Gendarmerie and Prefecture:
A General Commander earns $ 7,003
Deputy Commander: $ 3,875
Cabo: $ 2,777
Sailor: $ 2,696

Large percentage of the salaries is out of the system.
