La Plata: Ten workers injured after the collapse of a scaffold

A scaffold of a construction site located in 74 St. between 46 and 47 collapsed, injuring at least ten men, one of them is in serious condition.

The building in construction belongs to the Council of Economic Sciences of the province of Buenos Aires, where one of the scaffolding gave way due to causes that are been investigated. The same was raised to the fourth floor of the site.

Several ambulances and a fire brigade came to the place, although the relief efforts were complicated by a demonstration of ATE teachers and CTA, which took place near the incident.

Apparently four workers were on the scaffold and after collapsing, six were trapped in the rubble. All were taken to nearby hospitals.
