Cristina is already in Lima for ASPA Summit

President Cristina Kirchner arrived in Lima to participate in the Third Summit of Heads of State of South American and Arab Countries (ASPA).

The presidential plane arrived at around 23 pm local time (1 am Argentina) and in front of the Marriott hotel, where the head of state is staying; a group of young people received her with songs that said “Cristina South American sister”.

And also they carried signs with slogans like “The Malvinas are Argentine.” The president smiled and greeted many of them, as she entered the hotel.

The forum “has a purpose of regional integration and clear horizon to promote the political, economic, investment and cooperation” from the organization reported.

The member countries of ASPA are in South America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela.

For the Arab League: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestinian Authority, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria , Tunisia, Yemen and Djibouti.
