Cristina demolished a myth, alfajores are Arabs (see video)

In the framework of the Third Summit of Heads of State held in Lima, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner referred to the history of alfajores.

The Head of State said: “I must tell you a secret. When looking at the magnificent video today of Peru to show the unity of Arab culture with South America, I discovered that the alfajores, which I always thought was an Argentine invention, were a culinary art of you”.

The president of Argentina explained that “I should presuppose the prefix ‘al’, of alfajor,” adding that “we all know that in Hispanic culture, all you have to have the prefix Arabic origin, than it was Arab culture on the peninsula Iberian”.

Cristina Kirchner participated in Lima of the Third Summit of Heads of State and Government of South American and Arab countries, toppling a myth and installed in the country on that field, it was assumed that it was an invention of Argentina.
