Colombia President Juan Manuel Santos to be operated for prostate cancer

Colombia President Juan Manuel Santos informed all media will undergo surgery for prostate cancer and will be under local anesthesia.
According to the newspaper El Tiempo: “Santos will not require general anesthesia and it appears that the tumor was caught early thanks to permanent medical studies”.
The president will be operated in the Fundación Santa Fe in Bogota.
The situation is not serious and he could completely cure after the surgery.
The Colombian president said, “I am 61 years old and after some studies last year, doctors found out an abnormal increase in the PSA. These studies are done because it can be hereditary, my grandfather had it and one of my brothers suffered the same disease a few years ago and was completely cured.”
