Passengers of Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral suffered delays and cancellations at least 25 flights due to a union conflict carried out by the Aeronautical Federation (FAPA).

The problems in the operations took place both at Jorge Newbery as Ezeiza International Airport.

Edgardo Llano, president of Aeronautical Personnel Association (APA), reported: “This morning we find an employer lockout as Aerolíneas and Austral scheduled flights had been canceled.”

During the assembly of the aircraft, a group of guild mechanics broke and there were some incidents. The workers are demanding a pay rise and a collective agreement for employees of the National Administration of Civil Aviation (ANAC), among other demands.
