With goals scored by Ponzio, Luna and Funes Mori (2), River defeated Arsenal’s deteriorated version 4-0. Alfaro’s team was not the same that became champion in the Clausura and was overtaken by the team led by Almeyda who needed to win to score points and leave the relegation zone.
