The initiative is from the deputy bonaerense Alicia Sanchez Kirchner, wife of the leader Luis D’Elia. The project promises to generate much controversy.

Kirchner legislators introduced a bill for “fair access to housing”, which states that new gated country clubs of Buenos Aires should donate land or money for the purchase of land where they can build housing.

The initiative, the official provincial deputy Alicia Sanchez, wife of the leader Luis D’Elia, was greeted with applause during his presentation at a ceremony held in the Hall of Lost Steps of the House of Buenos Aires, with the participation of social organizations.

The meeting took part the president of the Chamber of Deputies provincial, Horacio Gonzalez, vice president of the body and main reference in the district La Campora, José Ottavis, and legislators of Kirchner. The project, which immediately began to generate buzz in the province of Buenos Aires provides that municipalities may buy land of private neighborhoods, when permitting large urban developments, to develop social housing plans.
