Father keeps the body of his teenage son in the freezer, because he can not bear to part with him

A devastated father keeps the body of his 18 years old son in a freezer for the past six years, because in this way he feels that “he has never gone.”

Tian Xueming, from Huangling, near Chongqing in southern China has rejected all requests to move the body of his son Qinyuan to a family tomb.

The carpenter of 54 years old has even created a series of backup generators to keep the freezer running during power outages that are common in the district.

Xueming said: “It makes me feel as if my son had never left me.”

The carpenter and his wife suffered in principle the loss of their 15-year-old daughter, who died a sudden death and after the boy was diagnosed with a terminal disease and they could do nothing about it.

“When Qinyuan died, I could not make myself the idea that I was not going to see him again, so I decided with my wife to put him in a freezer to preserve his body.”

At first they kept it secret but then the news spread through the neighborhood. Many people tried to persuade them to give the boy a proper burial, but they refused.

Both are close to frozen body regularly whenever they feel hopeless. “Whenever my wife can not sleep, go to the freezer, opens the door to say ‘hello’.”

Xueming clarifies that in the future will give Qinyuan a more appropriate place to rest in peace, but now is not the time.
