NASA’s robot caught a Martian eclipse (Pictures)

NASA’s Robot Curiosity continues to impress with what it images from the Red Planet, now it sent an extraordinary new picture of one of the two moons of Mars passing through the Sun

The photo shows Deimos, the smaller moon of Mars, moving about the Sun to create a partial eclipse.

The first images of the Martian mini-eclipses were revealed last week when Phobos, the larger of the two moons, was just coming out in Mars.

The picture seems to be taking a ‘bite’ in the shade, while in the last photo of Deimos, the smaller moon obscures the sun much more clearly.
