Boca was defeated by Lanus and lost the leadership of the tournament

In an acceptable match, Lanús defeated Boca 2-0, with goals scored by Regueiro and Valeri in the first and second half respectively. Falcioni’s team lost the lead, now taken by Newells. The Xeneizes have 16 points, having overtaken by Vélez with 17 and Newells with 18. Boca played one of his worst games as a team in the tournament so far.
