435 thousand Argentines traveled through the country in the long weekend

On the long weekend, the expectation fulfilled the objectives of tourism of entrepreneurs in this industry. Starting today, the main destinations exceeded 90% of capacity. Some business chambers ensure that revenue will exceed 124 million pesos.

At the moment the main roads leading to Rosario and Cordoba present intense traffic but not congested.

Meanwhile, the Gastronomic Hotel Business Federation said the hotels of the cities of San Luis and Corrientes are located at their maximum.

“Although this holiday could not be planned well in advance, entrepreneurs have generated attractive promotions and proposals for all Argentines to continue to choose Argentina as their main destination,” said the president of the Argentina chamber of Tourism, Oscar Ghezzi.

The Travel and Tourism Survey of Households (EVyTH) conducted by the National Tourism Ministry said that about 435,848 people will travel to tourist destinations in the country this long weekend.
