The Government sent 400 Gendarmerie personnel for safe Sarmiento and Mitre lines

The national government sent 400 policemen to tighten security on the railways Mitre and Sarmiento, starting tomorrow that will work with the Federal and Buenos Aires Police.
The Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo announced the move in response to the strike of workers that took place last week, demanding for security, after a guard was stabbed in Olivos.
Randazzo said officers will be located at:
Sarmiento line stations: Liniers, Haedo, Morón, Merlo and Moreno.
Mitre line stations: San Martin, Miguelete, Villa Ballester, José León Suárez, Victoria and Tigre.
“The plan will also include headers Constitution, Retiro and Once” and “security cameras and communications equipment,” the minister added.
