Weather alert ceased but rains and winds will continue, at least until the afternoon, Ministry of Defense said.

The Naval Hydrographic Service added, “The warning issued due to the rising waters of the La Plata River ceased, so the tide will be at ordinary values”.

Yesterday, the National Weather Service “issued a weather alert for the presence of a low pressure center that generates increased southeasterly winds.”

The SMN said, “The winds rotate south, reaching its maximum intensity and then speed starts to decrease from Wednesday afternoon with the removal of the low pressure system.”
