A taxi driver in Buenos Aires backed 85,000 pesos that a passenger had forgotten in the back seat, inside a leather bag.

This is the exemplary conduct of Marcelo Simoni, who picked at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery to an old lady carrying a lot of baggage.

“No one wanted to take her due to the number of packages she had, but for me was a good opportunity of get some money,” Marcelo said.

“After I left the house I went to lunch, when I found inside the car in the passenger seat a leather bag with nine bundles of cash totaling eighty-five thousand pesos and I froze,” he added.

Without hesitation he returned to the house of the passenger, who “was already desperate”, after notifying the company where he works.

“When I got off the car with the purse the lady hugged me, kissed me and spent some time thanking me and telling me that the money was for the former Casa Cuna, then insisted until I had to accept two hundred pesos as a thanks, but I do not think she has to reward someone for doing something that should be natural,” he concluded.
