Velez defeated River 2-0 and remains below Boca and Newells

Argentina, September 16, 2012

Velez played better and defeated River that played badly compared to his presentation last weekend against Newells. With a goal scored by Prato and another by Vella, Gareca’s team won in Liniers and score points to approach to Boca and Newells, teams leading the initial tournament. River still cannot find the path after the return to the First Division. At 33 minutes into the second half, an incident with River hooligans that attempted to suspend the match forced Losutau to wait for its deterrence. Finally, the game was resumed.
