United States, September 15, 2012
Tomas Saravi, the young man who died in a traffic accident in the United States, was an organ donor. The family decided to take the decision to donate and thus they saved two lives. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, publicly acknowledged that attitude and gave the family a medal of honor.
Miguel Saraví, Tomas’s father, said that he and other family members will stay to participate in other events organized by the Rotary Club International and High School Lakeland Union High School, where the young was attending.
The student died on Saturday, after being hospitalized in critical condition for a week after the car carrying him crashed with two others.
Thomas had been awarded a scholarship to study in the U.S. because of his good grades in high school last year.
