Davis Cup: Del Potro suffered an injury in his left wrist and won’t face Berdych

After the defeat of Berlocq and Schwank in doubles, the picture is complicated for Argentina. While the series is 2-1 with two matches remaining, Juan Martin Del Potro won’t face Berdych because of an injury on his left wrist.

His replacement will be Carlos Berlocq, who was defeated with Schwank in the doubles match, giving the Czech the point to win the series 2-1.

Captain Martin Jaite said Del Potro “should have immobilized the wrist for ten days” to finish recovering.
