According to the INDEC, August’s inflation was 0.9%

The National Institute of Statistics and Census (INDEC) showed the inflation data of August. It increased by 0.9% compared to last year.
According to the institute, the Consumer Price Index accumulated growth of 6.8% between January and August this year.
According to the official news agency, “this way, the cost of the basic food basket (CBA), which sets the threshold of the poverty line, in August stood at 699.01 pesos for a couple with two children aged eight to six years. “
In 2012, “the cost of the CBA increased 10%, while that of the CBT rose 10.75%.”
