A photo of Lionel Messi was faked to reheat the pre-game over Argentina, Peru, for the Brazil 2014 qualifying.

Where there was a message from La Pulga (The Flea, Messi nick name) to his Twitter followers, saying, “For people of Twitter, with love. Lio Messi “, another message was put through Photoshop that reads: “Peruvians suck it”.

The intention was to damage the image of the Argentine player attacking Peruvians, but soon it was learned that the image was false.

In Peru, the arrival of the Argentina team generates large controversy, fueled by the media. Some episodes experienced by the players had to do with insults and grievances, especially toward Messi.

In addition, the selection lived a very tense moment when it was stoned by a group of at least 20 people. Players moved to the national stadium for the concentration and the bus received stones from all directions, by a miracle no one was hurt.
