An armadillo is the image of the World Cup Brazil 2014, as was confirmed today. The pet does not have a name yet, it will be voted by internet.

The 2014 World Cup organizing committee approved the armadillo of the species “Tolypeutes tricinctus” to be the mascot competition.

The characteristic of the animal is that, for defense, he turns into a ball, under the cover of his skin. The animal is endangered species.
