Sri Sri Ravi Shankar guides an act in the Planetarium of Buenos Aires

150 000 people gathered at the planetarium to witness the act of the humanitarian leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The founder of The Art of Living Foundation in Argentina guides an event with 300 cities around the world to call for “significantly improve society” through charity.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, humanitarian leader, nominated several times for the Nobel Peace Prize, mobilizes millions of people for a peaceful, free of stress and violence society.
In the congregation, he gave a brief introduction with the reading of a letter in which he tried to explain the meaning of meditation.
Besides meditation alongside the leader, the event features a festival of vegetarian food, yoga classes open to the public and live music with the presence of bands arising from the Art of Living Foundation.
Admission is free, only to bring a nonperishable food to donate, to be delivered to the Food Bank, an NGO that helps organizations and canteens 511 Federal Capital and Greater Buenos Aires.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was born in India in 1956 and studied Vedic and Physical Sciences. The he created in 1981, the Art of Living Foundation, a nonprofit NGO or political or religious affiliations. It was named by UNESCO as one of the century’s greatest orators and thinker of 2011.
