In a great match, River and Newells tied 3-3 at the Monumental Stadium

In a game full of goals, River and Newells tied 3-3 with goals scored by Perez and Scocco (2) for the visitors and Trezeguet, Mora and Funes Mori for the locals. The Monumental stadium was host to the meeting between the team led by Almeyda and the one ed by Martino, who came to seek a victory to beat Boca at the top. With the tie, Newells remains more consistent than River but Boca consolidates as a pointer.
