Argentina finished 62nd in the Paralympic Games of London

Today ended the London Paralympic Games, with a closure equivalent to the level of the Olympics held a month ago. Argentina’s delegation finished in the 62nd position, winning one silver and four bronze medals. At the top finished China, Russia and Britain.
The silver was won by Jose David Effrón from Cordoba, and the bronzes by the rider Rodrigo Lopez, athlete Hernan Barreto, the judoka Jorge Lencina and swimmer Nadia Baez.
The large delegation missed the gold medal: the hope placed in bats, Argentina Soccer Team of visually impaired, could not achieve the goal.
The overall medals podium was led by China, whose athletes won 231 medals, followed by Russia and Britain. Brazil, South America’s best and next organizer of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in 2016, was seventh in the medals table with 43 medals won, of which 21 were gold.
