Antonio de la Rua denied having filed suit to Shakira

Antonio de la Rua’s lawyer Alberto Petracchi released a statement about the rumors spread in various media about ‘the alleged claim of $ 250 million against her ex girlfriend Colombian singer Shakira’.

“Isabel Mebarak Shakira and Antonio de la Rua have completed commercial society that brought them together for several years. There is incorrect news that the press reported in recent days.”

He explained that “the dissolution of the company is at the stage of judicial proceedings and the same will be defined in the coming months. It deals exclusively with the dissolution of a company linked to the professional and commercially for 12 years.”

The lawyer added that “after the breakdown of the couple, in 2010, Shakira said Antonio De la Rua was in charge of the conduct of her business and career interests as he has always done, but now the couple advances to former partner the end of that business relationship.”
