Curious and original marriage: They say ‘I Do’ on Twitter (view video)

September 6, 2012
Cengizhan Çelik and Candan Canik is a Turkish couple that decided to marry in a somewhat ‘curious and original’, using the occupation of the groom, ‘social media editor’, to give the ‘I do’ through a ‘tweet’ during the ceremony and shared their vows through the social network Twitter.
When the mayor of district Üsküdar in Istanbul, asked the couple if I wanted to be husband and wife, he gave them an iPad in which they wrote ‘Evet’ (Yes, in Turkish) in their Twitter accounts. As if Twitter were not enough proof of his particular wedding, the couple uploaded a video on YouTube where you can see how the couple declare eternal love in less than 140 characters.
