The September 24th is a holiday

The Senate would approve today the holiday of September 24 for only one time due to the bicentennial of the Battle of Tucumán.
The Lower House had approved the initiative last August.
The project was conducted by several congressmen from Tucuman of different parties and was based on the February 27th holiday, for the bicentenary of the creation of the Argentina flag.
September 24 is Monday, so the Argentines have a new long weekend to enjoy.
The Battle of Tucumán was a gun battle fought on 24 and 25 September 1812 in the vicinity of the town of San Miguel de Tucumán, during the War of Independence of Argentina.
