The Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo asked the resignation to Secretary of Railway Transport, Antonio Luna. He is indicted by Judge Claudio Bonadio, under the tragedy of Once station.
Interior Ministry sources said that “It’s the minister decision that has to do with putting together his own team,” rejecting that the request has to do with the legal status of Luna.
Days ago, another official of Transportation also presented the resignation: the head of the National Commission for Transport Regulation (CNRT), Antonio Sícaro, pointed by the families of the victims of Once, as responsible for the lack of controls in trains.
These two resignations were preceded by Juan Pablo Schiavi, who served as Secretary of Transportation, now replaced by Alejandro Ramos.
