NASA today released an impressive video showing a solar whip in the surface of the sun of 500,000 miles long, and the radiation goes directed toward Earth

It was captured by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), and shows a solar filament that extends over half a million kilometers in a long arc over the surface of the sun.

The video is from August 6 to 8 2012 and shows the filament as a darker strand was in sight for days.

“Towards the end of the video, the filament would appear, but the basic shape and length seem not to have changed much.”

The video, which condenses three hours of activity, also reveals in detail the action of extreme ultraviolet light.

Today it became clear that ‘the eruption was so large that reach the earth’.
