Musician Fito Paez spoke harshly to government officials of the City, under the 0-800 to denounce political activity in schools, ensuring that they “had been snitches on the dictatorship”.

“These people in the dictatorship had been snitches, delivering people,” Paez said in a radio interview. “I emerge those ideas, I do not want to think like that but they almost force me,” he said, then asked, “Have these guys listened to the Rolling Stones?”.

“You cannot vote for a person who said that homosexuality is a disease. Let’s cut the shit; it is the city of Charly [Garcia] and [Jorge Luis] Borges,” he said.

“You have to afford everything in life, living with one’s freedom. Surely someone is going to bother, but do not be afraid of that. It’s good warm up at some point and make a gesture of brutal honesty,” he exclaimed.

Fito Paez had made controversial statements through an article on Page 12, which said that half of the residents of the City of Buenos Aires gave “disgust” for having voted Mauricio Macri.
