The Minister of Science and Technology was awarded to support biotechnology

Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Lino Barañao, was honored for his career as a scientist and his efforts in favor of biotechnology.

He received a plaque from Biotechnology Group during a meeting in the Grain Exchange of Buenos Aires. Ricardo Marra, president of the organization, was on hand to welcome the Minister for the award.

During the event, Barañao explained the relevance of biotechnology for the country, reflected in the more than 80 companies engaged in the production of inputs for agriculture, health and nutrition. This implies a local research and innovation that has been recognized in the world.

The awards ceremony was attended by representatives of some of the entities that make up the Biotechnology Group.
