Spectacular images of body painting festival

Several models are participating in the International Festival ‘Body Painting’ in Daegu, South Korea, today.

The designs were carefully applied to the bodies of the models to create peaces of art.

The bodies are painted with different materials and techniques, and often combined with amazing costumes and effects.

Participants take part in three competitions, including the most photogenic model, best body paint, and the best fantasy makeup.

Hundreds of artists from around the world compete in the contest, held at Columbus Field Concert Hall in Duryu Park, Daegu, since 2008.
