La Plata: People who do not raise their dogs droppings will be fined

The city council of La Plata is treatinga project consisting in fined up to 300 pesos to people walking with pets on public places and not raise the droppings.

The bill provides that “owners, holders or dog walkers in transit or remain in the public space will be required to collect the droppings of animals.”

And the text adds: “For this purpose they must obtain a brush and a trash bag or other suitable item for collection.”

In addition, the municipality must place containers used for the deposition of excreta in public and especially in squares, plazas, parks and boulevards.

Fines will be progressive from 50 to 300 pesos for dog walkers or owners who do not comply with this resolution.
