Pistorius achieved a new world record in the Paralympic Games

England, September 1, 2012

He had already participated in the Olympic Games, and now goes for more and is participating in the Paralympics. The South African athlete Oscar Pistorius, who runs with two implants because he suffered the amputation of his legs, achieved a world record by scoring 21.30 seconds in the 200 meters. Now prepares himself to break the mark he left in Beijing in August, where he won three gold medals.

“I do not know if I will win as many medals as in Beijing, but the world record is a good start,” said Pistorius.

The South African, who lost both legs when he was 11 months, runs with carbon prosthesis.
