Iniesta was voted as the best player in Europe over Messi and Ronaldo

Andrés Iniesta, midfielder of FC Barcelona, was chosen as the best player in Europe over Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Due to his great performance in the Catalan club and the national team of Spain, the hitch was chosen for the UEFA prize is awarded to the player most of the season 2011/12.

Thus, Iniesta won over the other two candidates, Lionel Messi (Barcelona) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid).
