Plaza de Mayo president Hebe de Bonafini supported the political acts of the group “La Campora” in primary and secondary schools. “I think that from the kindergarten kids have to go into politics, despite Macri,” she said.

“Before Sarmiento they should know who are the responsible for their poverty,” Hebe said, arguing that “we must educate young people to not finish this stage.”

Bonafini also said that democracy returned with Kirchner because Alfonsín “betrayed” and his government was simply a parody. “In 1983 there were again a constitutional government, but democracy came with Nestor Kirchner, which is what we live now.”

“With Kirchner we realized that all the effort was worth it because the struggle for our children was avenged when he became president,” Hebe said.
