Buenos Aires National College principal, which part of the University of Buenos Aries (UBA), Gustavo Zorzoli, believes that the project of Kirchner, extending around the electoral roll to adolescents of 16 years old, is “a forced situation.”
Zorzoli said it is an idea tenuous because “at that age, kids are in third or fourth year, training for be full citizenship and have much to learn, at 16, in general, they are not able to vote.”
The principal also said that the best way to vote is with education and in this regard even “the situation is more complex because there is a high degree of guys who leave high school.”
“The evolution of this situation is the least of my worries, but this choice is made without the necessary knowledge, you can make better choices when you know and the school is providing the tools for responsible choice,” he said.
