The gorilla dancer (pictures)

August 20, 2012
A two-year gorilla, named Bangui, was photographed by Florence Perroux, a conservation officer Zoo La Palmyre Les Mathes, France.
He said: “As they grow, babies apes imitate the attitude of adults, and this young man was showing his skills at the top of a pole.”
“This young man does punches and body movements.”
“The young gorillas often beat his chest and clap their hands. It’s very fun to watch. “
“For them it is a dance, but it’s a game and a way to attract attention.”
