Macri felt embarrassed for the spot of the President

Buenos Aires Mayor Mauricio Macri blasted the advertising spot with which Cristina Kirchner decided to attack the issue of the subways.

He said he felt “embarrassed” by the president’s strategy, which was released yesterday at halftime of River-Boca match.

Moreover, he insisted that the subway is not secure and cannot receive it without the relevant resources.

“Metrovías still has the concession contract with the Nation” and the transfer “takes months of negotiation and review debt and legal and technical issues.”

Macri also said the conflict is resolved if the president decides to do it and if she doesn’t “I prefer that people not travel by subway to have an accident,” he said.
