In pictures: French Water stain red blood

It may seem like a scene from a horror movie but the red waters of these deltas are the result of a natural phenomenon that takes France tourists to visit in droves.

The stunning scenes are in the area of the Camargue, southern France, where water has become a red blood, which is believed to be the product of the enormous salinity that invaded it.

The strange spectacle was captured by Russian photographer, Sam Dobson.
