Basketball: Argentina beat Brazil and is semifinalist

In a very close game, the Argentine national basketball beat Brazil 82-77 and advanced to the semifinals of the Olympic Games.

The team run by Julio Lamas faced one of the contenders for the title, led by DT leading to the Golden Generation to glory: Ruben Magnano.

Although the situation seemed under control, with a lead of more than 12 points for much of the third quarter, the last few minutes were tough and Brazil seemed overcome.

Argentina, however, resisted and classified to the Olympic semifinal.
