President Cristina Kirchner referred to the murder of Workers’ Party militant, whose trial begins today, stating: “Maximo, my son always said that the bullet that killed Mariano Ferreyra, also brushed his father.”

“The trial could be directed and the suspects could be determined due to the collaboration of a mayor who brought us a witness and called Néstor [Kirchner],” said the president.

She added, “Nestor called me that day very shocked. My son always said that the bullet that killed Mariano Ferreyra also brushed his father and I think it was right because he was very, very shocked.”

“They took the person to Olivos [presidential residency] to ensure protection and not to be afraid and contacted the judge of the cause,” Cristina described.

“I have to tell you this because this is the truth of how the discovery started of the trial that begins today.”
